Threats v. City of Bessemer

United States District Court, N.D. Alabama, Southern Division

March 23, 2015

CHANTERIA THREATS, Plaintiff,
v.
CITY OF BESSEMER; OFFICER MIKE JONES, Defendants.

MEMORANDUM OPINION

SHARON LOVELACE BLACKBURN, District Judge.

The magistrate judge filed a report and recommendation on January 13, 2015, recommending that this action filed pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983 be dismissed under 28 U.S.C. § 636(b)(1)(C). (Doc. 38).[1] No objections were filed by the plaintiff.

Having carefully reviewed and considered de novo all the materials in the court file, including the report and recommendation, the court is of the opinion that the magistrate judge's report is due to be and is hereby ADOPTED and the recommendation is ACCEPTED. Accordingly, for the reasons stated in the magistrate judge's report and recommendation, defendants' motions for summary judgment, (doc. 23 and 25), are due to be granted. A Final Judgment will be entered.
